Community Church of Chapel Hill tickets & upcoming events

If you’re looking for a place that combines heart with community spirit, the Community Church of Chapel Hill is a spot worth checking out. This isn’t your typical Sunday service kind of place. Since 2014, they’ve really pushed the envelope with their online broadcasts, reaching folks across the country who can’t make it in person but still want to connect. The main hall? It’s seen some pretty big events, like the regional education reform discussion that drew over 1,200 people, imagine the energy in that room. And their community kitchen, launched back in 2011, is a real gem. Every week they serve free meals and offer cooking lessons to folks who need a little extra support, trust me, it’s a lifeline for many. They even hosted the North Carolina Small Business Expo in 2019, bringing together dozens of local entrepreneurs and startups. Getting there is pretty straightforward, if you’re coming from downtown, head east on Main Street West, then turn left onto Greensboro North Street, and just follow the signs to Franklin Street West where the sanctuary is located. From UNC, take South Road south, turn left on Ridge Road, and you’ll find the church at the end of that street. Whether you’re here for a concert, a community event, or just to experience a warm and welcoming vibe, the Community Church of Chapel Hill offers a little bit of everything and a lot of heart.
